 JOSE  RAMON ROSARIO

As a young man, Jose was heavily influenced by Afro-Cuban percussionists, Chano Pozo, Mongo Santamaria, Willie Bobo and Candido (who has been credited as being the first person to use congas in jazz music), to name a few.

Jose studied several years with master drummer Papa Ladji Camara, and brings the Latin flavor to the band, creating a unique rhythmic canvass.
